Spring Camporee

Immerse yourselves in the world of Avatar, where Scouts will learn and master the four elements of Scouting: Fire (Campcraft), Water (First Aid/Aquatics), Earth (Outdoor Skills/Navigation), and Air (Communication/Teamwork).

The goal for this Camporee is to provide Scouts with a patrol competition which is fun, engaging, and an educational experience that reinforces core Scouting skills through the lens of the Avatar universe. May your camporee be filled with adventure, learning, and the spirit of the Avatar!

Alright, listen up, young airbenders, earthbenders, firebenders, and waterbenders! Here's the drill:

• Many Clans, Few Warriors: Your troop can send out many patrols, like different bending squads, but each squad can't have more than eight young benders.
• Journey Through Trials: Each squad will travel to different training grounds, like elemental temples, and show off their bending skills.
• Judged by the Masters: At each training ground, you'll face challenges and earn points based on how well you perform.
• Tally the Spirits: Points will be added up throughout the day, and at the end, each squad will get their score sheets, like scrolls of wisdom, to see where they excelled and where they need more practice.
• The Unknown Path: You won't know exactly what bending techniques you'll need at each training ground, so sharpen all your skills and knowledge!
• Essential Gear: Each patrol must carry at least one spirit compass (compass) and a fire stone (Firestarter).

WHO: For All Scouts BSA troops for overnight camping or day-only competition. Webelos/AOL dens for day-only competition.

WHEN: Friday, May 9, 2025 - Sunday, May 11, 2025

WHERE: Camp Rock Enon Scout Reservation (292 Rock Enon Springs Rd, Gore, VA 22637)
